I am joining a weekend celebration of Asian arts, creativity and community, inspired by Henri Rousseau’s painting Surprised! at Whitgift Centre in Croydon on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May.
Come enjoy a joyful programme of dances, music and workshops.
Make a small textile artwork with Sashiko stitching. Using simple running stitch, explore traditional patterns or create more spontaneous expressive design unique to you.
