Past workshops
Hounslow Vision 2050 Community engagement London Borough of Hounslow 2025
Delivered a Creative workshops of Future, as part of Hounslow Vision 2050’s community engagement at Feltham Fete in August 2025.
Participants were invited to create individual fabric squares, which were later pieced together to form a large patchwork tapestry.
“…[the pieces] reflect hopes for neighbourhoods that bring people together. Images of older and younger residents side by side suggest a future that values care and inclusion.”
Richmond Climate Action Microgrant 2024
Richmond Council’s Climate Action Microgrant awarded me to run two free workshops in mending and upcycling using Japanese stitching technique (sashiko). Participants experimented with the stitches to create different pattern and ways to patch up holes, making their damaged garments one of the kind to extend their life.
